It's always a pleasure when long lost chums pop out of the ether so if you are an OC who has lost contact with the Ship and your chums, now is the time to get back in touch. We have some big events planed over the coming years. Term reunions are being organised all the time.

If you know an OC who is not involved with any Conway group why not encourage them to join. If every OC brought one more back into the fold we could double our numbers!

There are several ways to get back in touch.

Don't Delay, Do It Today:

Conway Club. Join the Old Boys club by submitting the linked form or email the Hon Sec . You'll receive a Newsletter twice a year packed full of news, photos, reminiscences, information and contacts. You can buy Conway stuff from their shop including prints, cufflinks and ties. You also get access to the Membership List with names and addresses of all 1400 or so members.

Conway Club Cruising Association. Own a boat? Join the Cruising Club by emailing their Hon Sec. With a British registered yacht you have the right to wear the Conway Ensign and you can compete for the Moody Sailing Cup.

Conway Club Branches. No matter where you are in the world there is probably a branch near you where local OCs meet socially from time to time. There could even be people from your term in your area! You don't have to be a member of the Club to attend. Click here for a list

Vancouver 2007. The Vancouver Branch are planning the first international reunion in the Spring. It promises to be a great event. It's not to late to sign up. Details are available here.

Conway Internet Chat Group . About 300 OCs are members of this popular and very active chat group. We reminisce about Conway, life at sea and things nautical. There are sub groups for Family & Friends and a QB Corner where we can be opinionated grumpy old men about anything that takes our fancy. Alternatively you can just join to add your name to the Conway Email List proving email addresses for other OCs trying to find long lost chums. Join up here. I guarantee someone you know is a member.

HMS Conway Trust. This is a registered charity providing grants “for the advancement of education generally and in particular in the subjects of good seamanship and safe navigation” and “the relief of poverty” among e.g. “Past or present Officers of the Royal and Merchant Navy and other of the Sovereign's Armed Forces of great Britain and the widows, widowers and children of such Officers.” You can email their Hon Sec here.

The Friends Of The Conway are a charity dedicated to obtaining and preserving Conway artefacts. They maintain the beautiful Conway Chapel at Birkenhead. You can buy stuff from their shop including Conway videos and books. You can become a subscriber using this form and receive information about their activities.
